The year 2013 marks the 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Việt Nam and Singapore and two countries are to be strategic partners. To celebrate this event, the SRV Ministry of Information and Communications specially issues the stampset “Việt Nam - Singapore joint stamp issue: 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Việt Nam and Singapore (01-08-1973 - 01-08-2013)” with 2 values of 2,000đ & 12.500đ depicting Red jungle fowl (Gallus gallus) and Grey peacock pheasant (Polyplectron bicalcaratum).

The special joint stamp issue ceremony will be held in Hà Nội and Singapore on 12nd September 2013.
