Hi all!
Recently i saw on eBay lot of unissued 19 stamps of South VN imperforated.
Does they actually exist? :) Or it's just a test of a new printer? :)

Thanks in advance :)

As you have not loaded image of the Ebay item so we don't know which stamps you want to mention. However, I think that this could be a collection of South Vietnam unissued stamps (including 21 perf stamps and 19 imperf stamps)
With 21 unissued stamps of South Vietnam, this is not a completed one because there are some ones hard to find such as Porttery, Phoenix, Bao Dai King, Bao Long Prince, etc (they are different design with different face value). You can see attached image to see the common 21 unissued perf stamps (since 1963 until 1975). Among them, there are only 19 imperf stamps because there are not available of Trung sisters surcharged & Farmer Day 1970 ones (the latter is very very RARE as existed few, so advanced collectors consider them unusual ones). You can see them at a third row, 2 stamp beside on the right)
Hope this answer useful for you

Yes, i mean exactly these stamps, thanks a lot! :) Is there any information how many of perforated and imperforated unissued stamps were printed? What is the market price in Saigon for 19 imperforated unissued stamps?

As for rare unissued stamps you mentioned - yes it's very interesting but seems it's very hard to buy them. And very expensive :) I wish i can have it one day in my collection.

Thanks a lot for information again!

Hi, many years ago, price was about $160-180 (net price in Saigon) for 19 imperf. unissued stamps of RVN . We could buy them in pairs and even in B4 however we almost had resold them on ebay long time ago. We did not keep for collection because large margin on price made we very happy.:D

Today...Uhm... very difficult to seek them again in local market. We wish you have a luck to access them in one day. =D>

I see, Khai, thanks :)
180$ rather much for me actually :)

What about other imperforated stamps (proofs?) of south vietnam stamps? Are they available in Saigon?

In Saigon, imperf. stamps of RVN could be found from few dealers (uncertainly) but just few common sets. Price of each imperf. stamp is about $3-6. Thus, for each imperf. unissued stamp of which price $10 is reasonable (19 stamps # $180-190).

Surely bidding imperf. stamps of RVN on ebay is a better way to get nice stamps with broad margin, if any. Actually, it was here before climbing onto ebay. Nowadays, with Vietnam tropical climate it's difficult to have a non-tropicalized stamps with brown spots... :D. Sometimes, I join bidding such stamps on ebay but it depends on what set I like and what price I could pay. :D

The problem was -the stamps in the lot i saw didnt have enough space near edge to be sure that they are really imperforated... or even if they were imperforates so not good enough to have in the collection :)
