These cards are included here as a particular section of phonecards, in fact they are not really public cards being used in mobile phones. However, they are turning out to be as collectable as any other type of phonecard, due to the fact that several Companies all over the world are issuing them, and even because they are not so easy to come by, with the consequence that some high prices are being sought for certain cards. Recent cards usually have a chip that can be detached by the main card, so cards with and without chip can be found and both are collected, even if a card complete with chip is usually preferred.
